The FUHR Keywind Gearbox has a 35mm backset with 92mm centres. It is a single spindle centre case with a 200mm case height and a 50mm case width.
The FUHR Keywind Gearbox is a cylinder operated centre case that controls both the latch and deadbolt without requiring handle operation, making it ideal for doors where access is managed solely via the key. Designed to suit FUHR multipoint locking systems, this gearbox offers a reliable replacement option for keywind setups typically used in high-security or controlled access environments.
Handing
The latch can be reversed by locating the Allen screw on the side of the lockcase in line with the latch. Remove the screw, pull out and reverse the latch, then refit the Allen screw.
Operation
Locking Method – C: Two full turns of the key to lock, then two full turns of the key to unlock. An additional turn withdraws the latch.
