Orders and contract

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the goods shown in your basket. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself mean we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch if an item is unavailable, the price or description contains a clear error, payment is not authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud. Any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown before you submit the order. Payment must be authorised using a method offered at checkout.

Products and suitability

We take reasonable care with descriptions, specifications and images, but colours and appearance may vary by screen. Measurements and compatibility are important for locks, cylinders, door hardware and access-control products. Please check the specification and contact us before ordering if you are unsure. Installation should be carried out by a competent person where appropriate.

Availability, dispatch and delivery

Orders are subject to availability. Our current delivery area, charges and estimated times are set out in the Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.

Cancellation, returns and faults

Your cancellation and return rights are set out in the Returns and Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Business customers should contact us if they require separate trade terms.

Website use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code, scrape it unreasonably, or use its content in breach of intellectual-property rights. Product and brand names may belong to their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available where you live.
