Returns and cancellations

If you buy from BH Locks online, you may cancel a change-of-mind order by telling us within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them.

Please email sales@bhlocks.co.uk or call 01450 370907 before returning anything. Send returns to: Border Hardware Ltd (BH Locks), Mansfield Road, Hawick, Scottish Borders, TD9 8AW, United Kingdom. Include your name, order number and the reason for return.

Goods should be unused, uninstalled, complete and in a sellable condition with their original packaging where possible. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may reduce the refund if handling beyond what is necessary has reduced their value.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you must arrange and pay the return postage. We recommend using a tracked and adequately insured service. If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or supplied incorrectly, please contact us before returning it; we will meet reasonable return costs where required by law.

Refunds

We will refund the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or receiving acceptable evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. Where required, this includes the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option; any delivery upgrade is not refundable.

Items that cannot be returned for change of mind

Unless faulty, the cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. This can include cut-to-code keys, specially keyed-alike products and other bespoke or special-order goods. Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons cannot be returned after the seal is broken.

Faulty goods

Your statutory rights are not affected. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Contact us promptly if there is a problem so we can arrange the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
