The FERCO Lever Operated Single Spindle Latch Only Gearbox has a 28mm or 35mm backset with 70mm centres. It is a single spindle latch only centre case with a 200mm case height and a 42mm or 48mm case width.
This Ferco gearbox features a latch only mechanism with a single spindle layout, designed for use with older Ferco multipoint locks typically fitted to aluminium or UPVC doors. It provides a cost-effective repair solution when the latch function has failed but the rest of the locking strip remains intact.
Handing
The latch can be reversed by pushing in the latch hold cam located on the side of the lockcase using a flat bladed screwdriver. Remove the latch, reverse it, and return it to the case. You should hear a click as it engages.
Operation
Locking Method – A: Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms, then turn the cylinder one full turn to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push the lever down.
