The Briton 5760 DIN Standard Euro Escape Sashlock Case is designed for escape route applications where euro profile cylinder locking and lever operation are required. It features a 60mm backset, 72mm centres and a quick reversible profiled latch, helping to make installation more straightforward across left and right handed doors.

One turn of the cylinder throws the bolt 20mm, while the split follower escape function makes the lockcase suitable for use as part of a compliant escape door set when installed with the correct compatible hardware. The lockcase also features bolt-through fixing holes to DIN 18251, a galvanised steel case with satin nickel plating for corrosion resistance, and a grade 316 stainless steel single piece round or square forend. It is EN 1634-1 fire tested, Certifire approved and suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, if fitted to a fire door, a suitable door closer must also be installed.
