The Briton 5220-57 Euro / Oval Sashcase is a dual profile cylinder sashlock designed for use with either euro or oval profile cylinders. Suitable for lockable doors with lever furniture, the latch bolt is withdrawn by the handle while the 13mm hardened steel deadbolt provides secure cylinder-operated locking.
With a 57mm backset and 57mm centres, the Briton 5220 is in line with BS 8300 guidance and is suitable for a wide range of commercial door applications. The quick reversible latch makes installation more flexible, while the case is pierced to accept bolt-through furniture. Supplied with a matching strike plate and backed by a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee. These products are suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, if fitted to a fire door, a suitable door closer must also be installed.
