The CL255 is part of the Codelocks CL200 series, it is a light duty Mortice latch with dual backplate and key override facility, useful for cleaning and security staff. The key overrides the codes.
The latch is spring loaded and will lock automatically when the door is closed. The latch bolt has a deadlocking plunger feature to prevent unlawful shimming of the latch. The lock has a slide button which can be used to hold open the latchbolt for free entry without operating the code (when the lock is not required to be operational). Function can be disabled on installation requiring code to be entered every time to open door. TThese products are suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, please see associated products.
Clean by Codelocks is an optional finish available to special order on many Codelock products. The clear coating combats SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (COVID-19) and can reduce bacterial growth by 99.96%*, providing an additional measure of protection over sanitisation. Clean by Codelocks features an ISO certified photocatalytic coating which offers enhanced protection against viruses, bacteria, germs and other environmental toxins.
